I grew up on the Sunshine Coast and it is very special for me to be returning not only to Sechelt, but Sechelt Animal Hospital (SAH) in particular. Growing up our family pets went to SAH for their veterinary care and those experiences helped fuel my desire to become a Veterinarian.
After graduating from high school, I completed my Bachelor of Science (microbiology) degree at the University of Victoria. Following graduation, I worked in research and was a Proteomics Technician in Victoria, BC. After a few years I moved to Saskatoon, SK to continue to pursue veterinary medicine. After 6 years at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine I graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a Master of Science degree in Large Animal Clinical Sciences.
Outside of the clinic, I look forward to spending time with my husband and our 2 dogs as we re-embrace the West Coast that we have missed while enjoying the Prairies. I am incredibly excited and fortunate to be able to join the compassionate and knowledgeable SAH team.
