When should I bring my rabbit in for a checkup?

We recommend bringing in your bunny once a year for their routine veterinary exam. With the right care, a rabbit can live up to 12 years. What should I feed my rabbit?

Rabbits are herbivores, which means their diet usually consists of plants such as grass or hay. Contrary to popular belief, vegetables such as carrots should be given in small amounts as a treat. Their diet should be mostly hay-based (Alfalfa if they are under 9 months old, Timothy if they are over 9 months old), with fresh leafy greens and a small amount of pellets to round out the diet.
