Virginia grew up on the Sunshine Coast, where she spent her summers with her grandmother enjoying the beauty of the beaches and surrounding nature. Her lifelong love of animals—especially dogs—naturally led her into the veterinary field.
She first joined Sechelt Animal Hospital from 2003 to 2006 as a receptionist and ward nurse before taking some personal time away. She returned to the team in September 2009 and has been a valued member ever since.
Virginia finds working with animals both challenging and deeply rewarding. She is passionate about supporting pet owners, advocating for excellent animal care, and continuing to expand her knowledge of animal health as part of a dedicated and compassionate team.
At home, Virginia is happily kept on her toes by at least one spirited Jack Russell Terrier at any given time. In her free time, she enjoys photography, mixed media art, and spending time on or near the water.
